This course explains the Five Elements of Design as they relate to creating abstract work. I refer to these Elements as the alphabet to your painting novel. They are the foundation for all art making, and if you want a solid foundation to your art education then this course is a must. In this course I speak specifically to their use in abstraction, as all two–dimensional abstract work is made up of one or more of these Elements.
This course is for beginning and intermediate students. It is also a great refresher for more advanced students.
